Our chef recommends that before we start our recipe, you’ll need to have the spices that are going to be used to make an exquisite chicken fajitas dish.
You’ll need:
Seasoning ingredients:
- Salt
- Pepper
- Oregano
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- ¼ teaspoon garlic salt
Main course ingredients:
- Fuego Mexika’s Manjar Emperador Chili & Garlic Paste
- 1 pound of boneless skinless chicken breasts
- Vegetable oil to taste
- Lime juice to taste
- 2 medium red or/and green bell peppers, cut into strips
- 1 small onion, cut into strips
- Butter to taste
- Garlic to taste
HIGHLY recommended pairing ingredients and add-on’s:
- Fuego Mexika’s Manjar Emperador Chili & Garlic Paste
- Shredded lettuce
- Sour cream
- Fresh cilantro
Now we are ready to start!
First, Melt butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat; stir in the spices powder.
Second, Add chicken, previously marinated with Fuego Mexika’s Manjar Emperador Chili & Garlic Paste. Cook, turning once, 13-18 minutes, chicken is golden brown on both sides and juices run clear when pierced with a fork.
Third, Remove from skillet. Cut into thin strips; keep warm.
Fourth, Add bell peppers and onion to same skillet. Cook 5-7 minutes or until softened.
Fifth, Warm up tortillas and get all the pairing ingredients ready.
Sixth, Top each tortilla with chicken, bell pepper mixture, Fuego Mexika’s Manjar Emperador Chili & Garlic Paste and additional toppings.
